COURSE |

Booking (Reservation) Fee : £50 |
Course Fee: £700 (£685)* |
Examination Fee: £50 |
The Exam fee is payable at the end of the course. Sitting the exam is optional. |
This
six month course is held one weekend per month at a
private residence in north London. The course leads
to full qualification as a Clinical Hypnotherapist.
Lots of practice, interactivity and student participation
are key requirements for the course and one-day Workshops. 'Riverside' specializes in 'one to one' and small
group tuition.
Students may complete their training sooner, (if required), and have some lessons during the week, by arrangement.
We have minimal overheads; our fees are low. We could charge a lot more, but we're not greedy. Why pay more?
There is a GREAT saving to be made on our Hypnotherapy Diploma Course. Just £700 + £50 exam fee. Hypnotherapy schools in central London charge one fee for the Foundation Course and charge another fee for the qualifying Diploma Course, (in many cases, the two fees combined amount to over £2,500).
In
addition to standard and advanced orthodox instruction, we have included modules on the sights and sounds of
nature, known as SBP©,
(Seeing Beyond the Physical©),
which teaches how to effectively use what is around us
to great benefit: to provide the client with the ultimate
hypnotherapy experience.
|
Stephanie - Hypnotherapy student |
| . |
During our 30 minute outdoor modules, (SBP©, 'Seeing Beyond the Physical'), students learn to use what is around them to richly enhance the hypnosis trance experience for their friends and family, and later, for their clients. These are skills which, once learned, increase your awareness and provide an essential key to your own wellbeing as well as that of others. The healing properties of Nature: the colours, sights, textures and sounds around us are huge contributors to the way we 'feel and think' (i.e. our moods, energy levels and general health), and how we react in situations and with others in day to day life. |
Our students' imaginative capabilities are greatly enhanced, which, in turn, create better and more meaningful therapies for everyone involved. In other words, better Imagery, (Creative Visualizations), which is, in our opinion, an ESSENTIAL skill and is really what Hypnotherapy is all about. |
Outdoor sessions involve absolutely no science - just imagination and intuition, (essential ingredients for any hypnotherapist, as hypnotic trance largely relies upon being presented with scenes, created from the therapist's own imagination). |
If you have an appreciation of Nature, or even an understanding of our interaction with Nature, then you will certainly be inspired by our Hypnotherapy Course and one-day Workshops, (in various topics). |
Outdoor modules last for approximately 30 minutes per weekend. |
Seeing
Beyond the Physical©
modules,
are usually taught and practiced in our adjacent countryside
- just 5 minutes' walk away. Weather permitting.
The benefits gained from these outside sessions cannot
be overr-emphasized.

Requirements & Payment Options
|
| . |
| Age Requirement |
We feel that to teach anybody under 22 is hardly fair on them. Students are required to have the emotional maturity to be able to cope with the course requirements. This restriction is applied also to protect the student, because few, if any clients, are prepared to consult a practitioner whom they consider to be too young. |
| . |
| Interview |
The interview provides an excellent opportunity for the prospective student to determine whether the course is right for them, and of course, to establish whether they are right for the course. |
| |
| Course Payment
options |
| |
| 1)
|
Complete payment of
Course, (on or before the Saturday morning of the 1st weekend): |
| |
The fee is reduced from £700 to £685*, (payable in addition to the Registration and final Examination fee) |
. |
| 2) |
Monthly
installment plan |
|
In certain circumstances, students may pay their
tuition fees of £700 by six monthly installments. All
installments are required in cash, payable on
the Saturday morning of each attendance weekend.
The entire course, (all six weekends), must be paid for in cash at £116.67, regardless if they have all been attended. Wherever a weekend is missed, payment should arrive by post within 7 days of the missed weekend. A student will
not be permitted to attend further weekends unless installments are up to date. Please note: cheque
payments are not permitted on the installment
plan. Embossed receipts will always be
issued. Any interruption of the payment scheme, (deemed unacceptable to Riverside),
will result in a penalty fine of £25 per missed
payment. Riverside reserves the right to dismiss any student through disruption of installments. |
| |
Riverside reserves the right to dismiss any student displaying bad conduct and proving disruptive to the learning environment. This includes non-completion of vital set tasks. HOME STUDY and PRACTICE IS ESSENTIAL. |
| . |

hypnosis and uses hypnosis in a sincere and mature
manner at all times |
| c) |

|
|
| Examination (containing theory and practical components) |
Sitting the exam is optional. However, if it is the student's aim to provide a public service, e.g. as a hypnotherapist charging a fee, they should first gain full certification. |
|

a) a theory component, comprising 50 questions (many in multiple question format) - 2+ hours |
