BTCV donated hundreds of Dwarf Daffodil bulbs, for planting on the Estate this October, to rise up in the Spring. Resident volunteers planted them in the mini-Woodland and along the green area, (between Reedham Close & Erskine Crescent). Although just a few people turned up to help, including three FLAG. committee members, (webmaster included), and the BTCV organiser, we were a very jolly team and made light work of the digging and planting. By far though, our most enthusiastic team member, was Marta - aged 2yrs. Marta was such a sweetheart and had a whale of a time popping bulbs in the holes already dug by her mum, (of course they had to be straightened up a little before covering them over). All said and done, it was an enjoyable and productive few hours. The rain stayed off too, which is always good news.
